Help after a medical crisis.

My wife Emma recently had a cardiac episode. Because of that and other health issues, and because I am unemployed (but still looking), we're looking down the barrel of no income. She's been advised to take a month from work, and we're still waiting for information about possible short term disability payments.
We need the money for the following:
- Rent
- Her medical appointments after the heart attack to address the issues
- Utilities
- Food
- Transit
- Our storage unit (which is way too expensive for what we're paying for it but we haven't been able to afford to move it out yet)
We have groceries for a couple of weeks of meals, but then it starts getting close.
