My name is Afia Begum, and I am 57 years old. I never thought I would need to ask the world for help like this, but today I am fighting for my life. I have been diagnosed with Stage II-A invasive cervical cancer with recurrence. I have already gone through radiotherapy, brachytherapy, and multiple cycles of chemotherapy. Each treatment has been painful and exhausting, but I have continued because I want to live. I want to stay with my family. Recently, my health has become more complicated. My kidney function and blood levels are affected, and I need urgent ongoing treatment, medicines, and hospital care to continue this fight. My doctors say the cancer is still treatable, but only if I can continue my treatments without interruption. My family has already spent everything they have on my previous treatments. Now, we are struggling to keep going. It is very hard for me to ask, but I need help.
