Severe floods recently devastated several provinces in Afghanistan, including Nangarhar, Farah, Herat, Zabul, and Kandahar, Baghlan being the most affected one currently, affecting over at least 10 provinces altogether. The floods resulted in extensive damage to homes, farms, and infrastructure, leaving over 1,800 families homeless and many injured. The collapse of approximately 800 houses led to the majority of casualties, while 300 livestock perished, and more than 60,000 acres of land were destroyed.
The situation is dire, and the affected people urgently require assistance to overcome this crisis. To provide aid to those in need, we have initiated this GoFundMe campaign, now focusing on delivering essential support to the affected communities in Afghanistan. Recognizing the ongoing struggles endured by Afghans daily, our objective is to alleviate their burdens and enhance their quality of life.
