Help Afghan Interpreter "Frank" & Family in USA

Donation protected

Hello,

My name is Aaron Forum. I am a veteran of US Army Special Forces (Green Berets). Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to read this message about our friend frank.

We saved our interpreter "Frank," and family from the Taliban. Frank is one of us and leaving him behind to be tortured and executed, his daughter behind to be married off to the Taliban, and his boys forced in terrorism, was simply never an option. Please, help us help them start their new life in America.

Ahmad aka "Frank," was my interpreter and was attached to my team (ODA 1223) during our combat deployment to Afghanistan. Frank is a family man through and through and is married with a wife and seven children. His family was being educated in Kabul, where he had settled their home. Frank worked for 20 years, and poured his entire life's income into building his house, one room at a time. He did it all in attempt to give his family a better life. His daughter was in school, as well as his boys. Working alongside US military in Afghanistan was risky, but also rewarding. It allowed him a new life, in the relative safety of Kabul, an education, and a chance at freedom and security. People like Frank do not share the same values as the Taliban, and this makes people like him an "infidel" in the eyes of the Taliban.

That all ended just a few weeks ago, when rumors began circulating of Taliban fighters entering Kabul. To his horror, groups of Taliban were then spotted shortly thereafter, roaming Kabul unchallenged. Within 24 hours, people were frantically preparing for evacuation. Frank and his family were forced to hide, oftentimes sleeping in the dirt in an effort to hide. At this time, Taliban were entering the homes of interpreters and killing or capturing them and or family members.

Frank was one of the lucky ones. Because of a close brotherhood formed overseas, myself as well as many others worked endlessly to get Frank and family out of Taliban controlled Afghanistan. After three attempts, we were finally able to get Frank and his family into the airport. However his first attempt to approach the airport, his children were nearly crushed to death in a stampede of thousands of desperate Afghans, due to random Taliban gunfire. Unfortunately, Frank lost everything, including luggage and handbags. His family literally has only the clothes on their backs, and the shoes on their feet.

Franks's oldest daughter is 18, and is "excited to become a heart surgeon." His boys want to be doctors or engineers, so they can "give back to the America that gave them a second chance." As Americans, we love seeing immigrants come to our shores, and take full advantage of the potential our wonderful country has to offer. It's our hope you will join us in helping Frank and family realize their "American Dream."

It's our goal to raise enough funds to move Frank and his family to Lee County, Florida and provide him with a job immediately.

Listen to his story above, and hear the conviction in his voice. Thank you again. God bless.
