I’m creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my friend Ricky, whose son has recently been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Ricky shared the following words from his heart, and I want to make sure his story is heard:

"My name is Ricky. I never thought I’d have to write something like this, but I do it with my heart in my hand - for my son.

My son is a strong, healthy, and talented young man, full of life. He has always been disciplined - taking care of his body, his mind, and his nutrition. But not long ago, he was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. The signs began over a year ago, but he kept believing - and still believes - that he can heal himself through the strength of his mind and spirit.

It hasn’t been easy. He has faced physical pain, emotional hardship, and moments of real struggle - sometimes even going without food. And yet, he continues fighting every single day with courage and hope.

We are raising funds to help him access the medical treatment and proper nutrition he urgently needs during these critical months. Things have been very difficult lately, and it’s been hard to cover even the basics - not just for him, but for his younger siblings as well.

We want to see him recover, keep creating art (he’s been an artist since he was a child), and continue dreaming without being held back by a lack of resources.
