Help Aenoi Rebuild His Family Farm

Donation protected
Aenoi Nakhoun, my cousin, has dedicated his life to farming in Hawaii, carrying on the legacy started by his parents when they arrived from Laos in 1989 after enduring the hardships of war and seeking refuge. In 2010, Aenoi took over the family farm, and his children have grown up surrounded by the land, learning the value of hard work and community. The farm is not only the main source of income for their family, but it also holds countless memories and represents hope for a better future.

Recently, a severe storm swept through Hawaii, destroying 10 acres of produce and over 50 fruit trees that had just started to bear fruit. Avocados, mangos, sour sap, sugar apple, ulu fruit, star apple, and jack fruit were all lost, along with vine produce like long beans, string beans, bitter melon, and betel leaves. The devastation has left Aenoi facing a tough financial struggle as he tries to support his family and maintain the livelihood of the farm. With more storms expected, the challenges ahead feel overwhelming.

The funds raised will help Aenoi rebuild and replant the farm, support his family's daily needs, and get him back on his feet to provide for his loved ones. Restoring the farm will also allow Aenoi to continue giving back to the community, as the produce helps feed many local families. Please support Aenoi and his family as they work to recover from this devastating loss. Your help will make a real difference in their lives and the community.
