Help Adrienne Kick Cancer’s Butt

Adrienne Zeiler is facing one of the most difficult and unexpected chapters of her life. In early 2025, she was diagnosed with cancer after months of unexplained and worsening pain—an illness that will significantly impact her health, independence, and ability to work in the months to years ahead.
If you know Adrienne, you know she’s a force of nature—in every sense of the phrase. She’s a passionate pelvic health physical therapist, constantly pouring her heart into her patients, mentoring new clinicians, and teaching with both knowledge and compassion. Outside the clinic, you’ll usually find her on a rock wall, hiking trail, paddleboard, or boat—anywhere she can be outside, moving, and soaking in the world around her. She loves with her whole heart, leads with integrity, and if there’s a pun to be made, you better believe she’s already made it (probably twice).
In late 2024, Adrienne began experiencing persistent pain in her right hip. What initially seemed like a straightforward orthopedic issue—likely connected to a previous injury—slowly became more concerning. Despite her efforts to seek answers, visiting multiple physicians and undergoing numerous tests, the pain only worsened over the following months.
By December, the discomfort had become debilitating. Alongside the physical symptoms, Adrienne noticed she just didn’t feel like herself—something deeper felt off. After nearly four months of advocating for answers, she was finally given a diagnosis: a large pelvic tumor. Further testing confirmed that the tumor is cancerous.
Right now, the exact plan for treatment is still up in the air. Adrienne is working closely with her medical team as they continue testing and weigh the best path forward. One possible scenario includes a major surgery that would involve removing a large muscle in her hip—a procedure she’s (very Adrienne-ly) dubbed a partial buttectomy. That may or may not happen, but either way, the road ahead is going to be tough.
As Adrienne prepares for what’s next, it’s already clear she’ll need to make significant lifestyle changes. Her current home—requiring daily use of steep stairs—is no longer safe, and her ability to work will be drastically limited. For the foreseeable future, she’ll only be able to work on a part-time basis while navigating appointments, symptoms, and the emotional toll of treatment and recovery.
This fundraiser is to help Adrienne manage the upcoming medical expenses, reduced income, and the costs of relocating to a safer, more accessible living environment. Any contribution—no matter the size—will help ease the financial burden so she can focus on healing (and ideally keeping both cheeks intact).
Thank you for your love, support, and generosity during this difficult—and occasionally cheeky—time.
Regardless of whether you are able to support Adrienne through financial contributions, please pray for her. We believe that specific prayers get specific answers. Here are a few prayer requests:
- We pray for miraculous and complete healing from all cancer cells in Adrienne’s body.
- We ask that God guide Adrienne to the best doctors, placing the right medical professionals in her path, and that God's wisdom will guide them in her treatment.
- We ask for a complete release from all physical pain and suffering she may be experiencing.
- We pray for strength, endurance, and unwavering faith for Adrienne as she faces the long road ahead.
- We pray that God grants Adrienne peace and comfort through this storm, surrounding her with His love and presence.
We are so thankful to report that several prayers for Adrienne have already been answered:
- Adrienne was able to find safe, affordable housing that meets her needs. She was previously in a three story townhome, and her pain made it very difficult for her to go up and down the stairs.
- She has received so much love and support from her family, friends, and church community.
Thank you again for all of your prayers, encouragement, and support during this time!
