Help Adrienne Fight Aggressive Uterine Cancer
Donation protected
Hi,
My name is Chryste. Adrienne is my dearest friend and confidante. I know she means the world to so many others too. With a heavy heart I’m sharing some devastating news and asking you to join me in helping this beautiful human and her incredible family fight the battle of their lives.
On Saturday, February 24th our world paused. After an ER visit and gynecological consult, Adrienne received biopsy results indicating cancer. The following Monday Adrienne and Alex were told the unthinkable—Adrienne had metastatic uterine cancer and would need to begin treatment immediately.
This completely blindsided everyone. The pic above was from her birthday in January, no one had a clue she was sick and facing a beast. Adrienne’s bravery in the midst of this battle is awe-inspiring. She truly is a warrior princess!
The original plan was a massive surgery on March 14th where the surgeon would attempt to eradicate the bulk of the cancer. Unfortunately, Adrienne took a turn for the worse and was admitted to the hospital on March 6th with sepsis and tachycardia.
She underwent a DNC procedure on Tuesday, March 12th where a massive amount of necrotic tumor was removed from her uterus with the intent of beginning chemo on Friday, March 15th. Adrienne is now in ICU on a ventilator while doctors are working to stabilize her. This hurdle will likely delay chemo a short time, but she is responding to questions and squeezing her loved ones’ hands. She is consistently improving and will have victory!
The current plan is to keep her in the hospital 3 weeks for her initial chemo treatment while waiting on lab results, which will officially name this beast. Her oncologist said to plan on a long and difficult journey, which means likely traveling to another state for treatment. Following 6 rounds of chemo, she will have a total hysterectomy. The oncology plan is and will remain fluid as she fights whatever this beast throws at her. There is hope and we have a big God who can do huge things!
The Morales’ are an asset to their family, friends, and community. They are always willing and ready to serve others and have given their lives to their community. They have been a blessing in my life and so many others, now is the time to love on and bless them.
Many have asked how they could help. As you can see, even with insurance, the costs of fighting this battle will be exorbitant. My hope with this Go Fund Me page is that others will join us in this battle by relieving some of the financial pressures they face. This is the greatest gift you can give them because it will allow them to prayerfully focus on the love and support needed during treatment, healing and recovery.
Please join me in showing the Morales family how much they are loved and cherished. If another method is easier for you just reach out to me at [email redacted] and I’ll give you the information.
Thank you for your generosity and continued prayers. We love you all!
