My name is Adrienne Ferron but my family and friends call me Ana. I live with a rare disease called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. It is a connective tissue disorder that affects my daily life. I also have a disease called Gastroparesis. My stomach is paralyzed because of it and I have a feeding tube to sustain me with nutrition. Unfortunately with insurance (Blue Cross & Blue Shield) they no longer pay for my medical nutritional supplements which I need to survive. It isn't fair that we have to choose between a place to live or me having nutrition. So we are asking for help as a family to help with my medical needs that insurance will not cover. Certain services like seeing a dietitian/nutritionist isn't covered by insurance as well. Medical supplies and needs that I have to special order due to allergies as well. We as a family truly appreciate this as we know everyone is also fallen on hard times. Thank you in advance!
