My nephew Adrien is only 22 years old, and just a month ago, our family received the devastating news that he has a rare cancer called chondrosarcoma. The cancer has formed a large mass in his pelvic area and has already spread to his spinal canal. This has made it extremely difficult for Adrien to walk, and he is now unable to work. The doctors here have told my sister and Adrien that there is nothing more they can do locally, so our only hope is to get him to the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota for specialized surgery to remove the mass and the cancer in his spine.

This journey has been incredibly hard on Adrien and our entire family. My sister, Adrien’s mom, has stopped working so she can be by his side and care for him full-time. The costs of travel, medical bills, and everyday living expenses are quickly adding up, and it’s overwhelming to face this financial burden on top of everything else. We are doing everything we can to support Adrien, but we can’t do it alone.
