Adrian is a devoted husband, a loving father, and a hardworking man who has been courageously battling renal kidney failure since 2019. At just 31 years old, his life took an unexpected turn when he was diagnosed with this life-threatening condition. The cause remained a mystery for years, leaving his family searching for answers — until recently, in May 2025, when doctors finally discovered that Adrian has membranous glomerulopathy, a rare disease that damages the filters in the kidneys and severely affects their ability to function.

Since that heartbreaking diagnosis, Adrian’s life has been filled with countless hospital stays, endless medical treatments, and unimaginable emotional and physical challenges. During the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, the isolation was especially devastating. His family, unable to be by his side, could only watch helplessly from a distance. His loving wife spent her lunch breaks outside his hospital window, offering words of encouragement over the phone, while Adrian fought for his life — alone, yet determined.

At one point, Adrian spent two weeks in the ICU, fighting to stay alive. When he finally began his recovery, he had to relearn how to walk — a task most of us take for granted, but for him, it was yet another uphill battle. Despite these struggles, Adrian remained committed to providing for his family. He continues to endure dialysis treatments three times a week, while still pushing himself to work a full­time job — a remarkable but dangerous effort. His doctors have urged him repeatedly to stop working for the sake of his health, but Adrian refuses. His 6-year-old daughter and loving wife of 7 years (together for 13) are his reason to keep fighting, no matter the cost.

For a while, Adrian managed to maintain a fragile balance in life — until August 2024, when everything changed again. While at work, he began feeling unwell and admitted himself to the ER. The very next day, on his way to dialysis, Adrian suffered a cardiac arrest — he coded and had to be resuscitated. Thanks to the quick response and dedication of the nurses, his life was saved that day. But the journey is far from over.

Today, there is a glimmer of hope. Adrian has been officially accepted onto two transplant lists, bringing him one step closer to receiving the life-saving kidney transplant he so desperately needs. But the road ahead is paved with financial and emotional hurdles.
