Help Adrianna Get Back to College!

Hi friends,

You may have contributed to Adrianna's camp campaign when for many years I raised funds for Adrianna and her sister Penelope to go to Camp Kinderland.

Cut to many years later. Adrianna came to live with me in Berkeley CA for her senior year of high school and was able to secure financial aid to vault to Georgia and attend Agnes Scott College. A wonderful school for young women that focuses on creating the leaders of tomorrow. Adrianna on her way to Agnes was a magical and wonderful dream-come-true.

Then Covid happened. Adrianna's first year of school at Agnes during Covid was very difficult, and as happens, Adrianna was unaccustomed to a private school environment and didn't feel she belonged. Didn't feel she deserved it. She is a first generation college attendee, and that comes with all sorts of challenges.

She went back to Fairfield CT and found herself doing child care. And stuck. After a time, Adrianna realized that she is indeed worthy. She can go to college, and have her dreams come true. I am deeply proud of her growth, and rising to the occasion of creating her future.

She has an outstanding bill from before she left, and the school will welcome her back, with aid, but not until she pays off her previous bill.

We need to raise this money right away. Will you help us? It takes a village, and so many of you have made a distinct difference in the lives of Adrianna and Penelope.

Penelope for her part is moving to Santa Barbara where a lovely angel-woman will host her as she saves her money and prepares to get CA residency, go to SB Community College and eventually transfer to UC Santa Barbara. The state of CA is great on the education front. So grateful for the UC system.

We must help folks get education. That's how circumstances can change.

But we need to pay Adrianna's bill now to secure her financial aid so she can return to college in January. Join us, wont you?! No gift is too small.
