My name is Adriana I’m 22, and for the past two years, I’ve poured my heart into Adrianasthingz, my small business where I resell clothing and create handmade jewelry. After being unfairly fired from my job due to my mental health struggles, I'm just gonna be blunt and say that it’s because they saw cuts on my arm because my Band-Aid fell off and instead of giving me a warning or telling me to put a new Band-Aid on, they fired me on the spot, I found myself at a crossroads. Living with severe anxiety and depression has made it nearly impossible to leave the house or find new work, and some days, even getting out of bed is a challenge. Despite these obstacles, my passion for fashion and connecting with others through my creations has kept me going.

Now, I’m dreaming of opening a shop in Rochester, NY—a place where I can meet customers face-to-face, share my love for unique clothing and jewelry, and build a supportive community. Having a physical space would mean the world to me, giving me purpose and a chance to grow Adrianasthingz into something even more special. The funds raised will help me secure a location, purchase supplies, and take the next step toward stability and independence.

My journey hasn’t been easy. I’ve struggled with mental health for most of my life, and past trauma and repressed childhood sexual abuse has deeply affected me.
