Hi, my name is Adriana. I’m currently living with multiple chronic autoimmune conditions that affect my mobility, causing leg weakness, tremors, and ongoing back and leg pain. Some days are manageable, but many others are unpredictable—my legs can feel heavy, unstable, and unsafe to rely on. Simple daily activities like walking, standing for too long, or moving around the house can quickly become exhausting or risky.

I’ve worked hard to manage my health and have pursued treatments, but my symptoms continue to impact my ability to function safely. Because of this, I’ve had to carefully plan my days around my energy and physical limits. There are times I avoid going out or doing basic tasks because I don’t know if my body will cooperate. This affects not only my independence, but also my ability to be fully present for my family and keep up with everyday life without fear of falling or worsening my condition.

A wheelchair would provide stability, safety, and the ability to move through my day with more confidence and less strain. It would allow me to conserve energy, reduce pain, and participate more fully in life instead of constantly holding back. Due to ongoing medical expenses, I’m asking for help covering this cost. Any additional funds raised beyond the wheelchair will go toward my ongoing medical expenses and treatment needs.
