Hello, my name is Adriana, and I am an artist and an aspiring fashion historian based in New Jersey. I have an Instagram page with 23K+ followers, and I have been using it to share my love of historical sewing and fashion. Unfortunately, my life is very different from what I publicly show online. 

I am currently living in a household with an emotionally and financially abusive guardian, and I don’t have a car that makes my daily life easily accessible as an autistic woman. I have no way to get out, and I don’t have family or friends to turn to for a helping hand. 

I am actively looking for a new job after losing my museum job. I was paid very little, I was also assaulted by my former supervisor. I am very tight on money most days, work isn’t coming my way.

 I hope to be able to find a safer and more affordable living situation, and I would like to be able to pursue my dreams. I have passions for the arts, performance, and sewing.

I’ve had to stay with coworkers and ask friends for money because my situation is very unstable and dangerous in some ways. Trauma and stress have been eating away at my physical and mental health, and I am not the same person I was a few years ago. I am very scared for my future. Even a dollar would mean the world to me, and I thank you for your support and understanding.
