April 24, 2021, my son Adrian Rodriguez was rushed to the hospital after an afternoon of sports with his siblings, took a bad fall on his leg, crushing it, breaking  bone, tearing ligaments, veins were ripped, cutting all blood flow to his foot.

So far two surgeries have been performed and foot was not lost and is being held together with pins going through his leg which will be for a few weeks.  At this moment his leg is unable to be closed until swelling goes down and will require skin grafts from his other leg.  My son is very active, he enjoys his exercise and jump roping and we will have to await for his healing.  This has been a nightmare for my son.

I sat with my son tonight and held his hand while he slept and hardest part was my son asking me not to leave his side when visiting hours were over. Due to hospital protocol I’m unable to stay at his side. We’re just afraid of not being able to finish his healing because of medical costs.
