Help Adrian Rebuild His Life - From Homelessness to Hope
I met Adrian Estala while he was searching for his beloved dog, Coffee, who had escaped through a hole in the fence. I helped him find Coffee and brought him to a shelter, not knowing that this moment would mark the beginning of a deeper connection.
Adrian’s story is one of quiet resilience. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he and his elderly mother were evicted from their rented home despite the moratorium on rent. While a safe place was found for his mother, Adrian was left without shelter. For three long years, he lived on the streets, battling depression while falling into addiction. Yet through it all, he never stopped visiting Coffee, who stayed with our family. Their bond was unbreakable.
With courage and determination, Adrian entered a rehabilitation program through the Salvation Army. The program he was in is not for the faint of heart. They are not coddled. They must earn their way through. Adrian completed it successfully and now lives in a sober living facility, committed to building a stable, meaningful life. He’s clean, grounded, and full of hope - a man who has walked through fire and emerged with grace. Adrian has never asked for a single thing and has always been kind and caring towards us.
We consider Adrian part of our family. Now, we’re raising funds to help him stay on his feet. Our goal is $6,000 - enough to cover four months of rent and basic living expenses ($1,500/month) while he continues his healing journey and seeks employment.
Every donation helps Adrian stay housed, healthy, and hopeful.
If you’ve ever believed in second chances, in the power of kindness, or in the strength of the human spirit - this is your moment to make a difference.
Thank you for reading, for caring, and for being part of Adrian’s story.
