On New Year’s Eve our beloved Adrian “Adel” Taylor suffered a severe stroke. She spent 5 days in a coma and passed away peacefully on the morning of January 5th.

Adrian’s sudden passing affects the whole Portland community, as she contributed so much to various scenes through her plethora of artistic/musical talents and unwavering love for the people she’s connected with over the last 20 plus years. But no one is more affected than her 21 year old son, Manakel Taylor, who she raised on her own since his birth and was currently sharing living expenses with. He needs the generosity of her community more than ever, as he is now forced to move out of their home to a more affordable place and pay all of his living expenses on his own.

Anything you can contribute to this young man would be immensely appreciated. Let’s give him the opportunity to grieve his beautiful mother and figure out his transition into independence without worrying about finances for at least a few months.
