Help Adri Fight for Workers’ and Human Rights in the U.S.
Adri is a passionate labor and human rights lawyer from Argentina. For years, she dedicated her life to social justice activism, standing alongside workers and vulnerable communities facing unjust labor practices and human rights violations. Adri represented those who couldn’t afford a lawyer and worked with groups defending women’s rights, always striving to make workplaces and society more fair and inclusive.
Now, Adri is continuing her studies in New York City, preparing for the final step: taking the New York Bar Exam so she can practice law in the U.S. Her goal is to defend marginalized workers and support communities that need Spanish-language access. The costs associated with her education, Bar exam, and immigration process have been prohibitively expensive. Her master’s program required a major investment in tuition and related expenses, and there are steep fees for exam registration and USCIS applications.
As an international student, Adri is bound by restrictive policies that prohibit her from working off campus. She is doing everything by the book, but those same rules make it nearly impossible for her to make ends meet. Rent, groceries, transportation, and basic living expenses add up quickly in NYC — and without the ability to work outside of her studies, she is struggling to stay afloat.
For the next two and a half months, Adri will study full-time, 10 hours a day, to be as prepared as possible. This fundraiser is meant to ensure that Adri can complete her studies, stay in the country, and return to being an advocate for marginalized workers and human rights here in the U.S. — which is needed now more than ever.
Your donation will go directly toward Bar Exam prep courses, registration fees, USCIS application, study materials, travel and lodging to sit for the exam, and food during the 2.5 months of intensive study. If we exceed our goal, every extra dollar will go to basic living costs, such as rent, utilities, groceries, and transportation.
Any amount — even small — helps support Adri in her studies. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this campaign can make a huge difference in helping it reach others who care about justice, workers’ rights, and access to education. Thank you for supporting Adri during this critical moment and for helping her continue building a future dedicated to justice and dignity for workers and vulnerable communities.
