Despite the ceasefire and after returning to the north, there is no life. It is almost non-existent, prices are high, and there is no shelter. Life continues in tents. Everything I own was lost in the war, so there are no streets. This means hunger and the living continue, and cooking over fire is impossible.

My name is Adnan, I am 50 years old, and a father of seven children. I live in Gaza, in conditions of indescribable cruelty and suffering. We have no source of income, not enough food, and one of my children is very sick and needs urgent treatment, but I cannot afford it.

Every day I wake up not knowing how I will feed my children or ease my sick child's pain. We live in difficult conditions, without work, without medicine, and often without hope. I am not asking for much—even small donations can make a big difference.
