Help Aditya Get the Critical Care He Needs
Donation protected
Hello everyone,
I am raising funds on behalf of my friend, Aditya, a 25-year-old Indian student from Hyderabad, India, who recently completed his master’s degree at Florida State University. Aditya was struck by a car in Philadelphia while crossing the road due to a reckless driver, resulting in severe head injuries with brain contusions and clots. He is currently receiving critical treatment at Temple University Hospital, and his recovery is expected to require extensive care, with costs projected to reach around $400,000.
Aditya is currently living with friends in Delaware, while his parents remain in India. He recently cleared his interview with Amazon and is eagerly awaiting on his offer letter. However, with no medical insurance and his family unable to support these overwhelming medical expenses, Aditya urgently needs financial assistance to continue his treatment and get the care he needs for a full recovery.
The funds will be transferred to Mr. Siva Chintapatla, Aditya’s uncle who is residing in the USA.
Every dollar donated will go directly towards covering Aditya’s essential hospital expenses and ongoing care. Your support will play a vital role in helping him through this challenging time and in easing the financial burden on his family.
Please consider making a donation through the link below, or help by sharing this fundraiser with your network. Your generosity will make a profound difference in Aditya’s recovery journey.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness and support. We will keep you updated on Aditya’s progress and the impact of your contributions.
Update
Yesterday (11/04), Adithya’s MRI report came back. The results revealed multiple injuries in his brain, classified as grade 3 diffuse axonal injury (DAI), a serious condition that often requires a long, uncertain path to recovery. Despite the current treatments, the doctors fear that there’s little else they can do to speed up his recovery. The situation now rests in Adithya’s resilience and the slow healing process that only time can provide. His return to consciousness undetermined,- could take months or years.
This news has been especially distressing for Adithya’s parents, who are longing to be by his side. They are waiting anxiously for the chance to be with their son during this challenging time.
Please keep adithya in ur thoughts and prayers during this tough time.
Update 2 :
1. We are into the third week of Aditya getting admitted and he is still making progress.
2. We do see some improvements on the right side of the body but its a long road to recovery at this stage.
3. Something good that came out last week was that he is out from the Trauma Unit and moved to a general room...he is under observation and hopefully in another week or so moved to Rehab center.
4. Again, i sincerely thank everybody to pass on the message so that we can get the continued Financial suppport for his care.
