Help Adira Get the Life-Saving Surgery She Desperately Needs
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
I'm reaching out with a heavy heart for help with my sweet ferret Adira. She's the last of the babies I rescued from a heartbreaking situation, and the only one still with me. After everything she’s endured, she’s been fighting so hard to survive—but now she needs our help more than ever.
Adira is battling advanced adrenal disease. Despite receiving an implant and Lupron shots, her condition has worsened. She’s now vomiting, severely dehydrated, and in visible pain. Her vet believes the disease is beginning to affect her kidneys and possibly other organs. The only real option left is surgery—and it’s urgent.
Her adrenal surgery is scheduled for this Tuesday, as long as her kidney values don’t drop too low. If they do, we’ll do everything we can to stabilize her first. She's a true fighter and a miracle already, considering the awful state she was in when I first brought her home.
It’s incredibly difficult for me to ask for help, but after losing four of my ferrets in just one week—and facing the wave of vet bills that came with that—I’m overwhelmed. I’m doing everything I can to give Adira the chance she deserves.
If you're able to donate, share, or just send some kind words our way, I’d be so grateful.
