Help Adham's Family Survive and Evacuate Gaza

Donation protected
Hello everyone, my name is Jade Lebrock and I am based in Florida, U.S. I am fundraising for a friend of mine named Adham Salem, a 23-year old from Deir al-Balah studying nursing at the University College of Applied Sciences in Gaza City.

Adham was born on August 2nd, 2001, to two loving parents, and is the eldest of 7 siblings. Throughout his life, he has worked in many fields including agriculture and has a certificate in both refrigerator and air conditioning repair. Inspired by his mother, Adham has most recently embarked on a journey to earn his bachelors degree in nursing at University College of Applied Sciences in Gaza City. He was halfway through his program and only had one year left before finishing his studies.

Here are some photos of his home and life before October:

Since October 7, he has not been able to complete his studies and after the first displacement from his home in Deir al-Balah, his family has since been displaced several times due to the constant bombardment from the IOF. His home has been completely destroyed with all of his memories and his family is now forced into small tents with no protection from the heat and humidity, constantly exposed to disease and immensely unsanitary conditions. To make matters worse, his father is dealing with chronic illness with lack of medical care and aid, and the near collapse of the medical system in Gaza (Almost all hospitals have been destroyed and out of service, only a few are partially functioning). His family is currently living in tents in the Al-Maghazi refugee camp, where they can hear the loud sounds of the IOF drones each night nearby. Needless to say, the situation becomes more dire by the moment and Adham desperately needs our help.

Adham is raising an initial amount of $30,000 to cover the exorbitant cost of food, aid, supplies, groceries for immediate relief for his family. Additionally, these funds will be used towards the evacuation fees out of Gaza, which can cost upwards of $5,000 per adult and $2,500 per children under 16. He has a total of 9 family members he is supporting, here are the names and ages of the adults:

  • Adham Salem Hassan Abu Sharb (22 years old)
  • Salem Hassan Mahmoud Abu Sharb (father, 46 years old)
  • Haya Muhammad Abdullah Abu Sharb (mother, 44 years old)
  • Abeer Salem Hassan Abu Sharb (sister, 21 years old)
  • Islam Salem Hassan Abu Sharb (sister, 19 years old)
  • Noor Salem Hassan Abu Sharb (sister, 17 years old)
  • Heba Salem Hassan Abu Sharb (sister, 15 years old)
  • Ahmed Salem Hassan Abu Sharb (brother, 13 years old)
  • Nada Salem Hassan Abu Sharb (sister, 10 years old)

Your support means everything to this beautiful family; please consider donating to Adham and his family and sharing his campaign with others. YOU make a difference for the lives of these families, thank you for your time and efforts!

**Donations will be transferred to a U.S. bank account which will then be sent to a trusted family member in Gaza where the funds can be used immediately.

Here is a message from Adham:

“Hello, I am Adham Salem I am 23 years old, a nursing student. I was not able to complete my studies in the field that I love because of the poor living situation in Gaza, which resulted from the Zionist aggression on the Gaza Strip, which left health, psychological, and financial devastation for me and my family, and from here our suffering began with my father’s illness (chronic blood pressure disease and low blood pressure). Heart muscle) which held me responsible for a mother and 6 brothers, including two sisters who were unable to complete their studies at university, and a brother and 3 sisters who were deprived of their academic education. It was suffering and pain to leave our home on October 7, 2023 and go to my grandfather’s house (my mother’s father), which was a small house for a small family. However, in addition to fear, pain and hunger, we lived with bodies without souls and with hearts full of fear and terror.

Then, on January 4, 2024, when the Zionist army decided to storm Al-Maghazi camp, it took advantage of the stillness of the night, and brought us destroyed vehicles and violent bombardment, forcing us to flee to the city of Rafah, barefoot, without clothes, food, or warm bedding to protect us from the bitter cold of winter. We, a family of 9 people, lived in A tent that cannot accommodate two people, and until now we sit in our suffering, our bitter reality, and all we hope for is that this war will end.”

Thank you for your support!
