Hi, my name is Jacob, and I’m raising money to help my friend Adham with legal fees.
Adham was recently taken into I.C.E. custody in Apple Valley, Minnesota after randomly being stopped while walking out of a store. This has been extremely shocking and difficult for everyone who knows him. Adham has lived in the United States since he was 3 years old, and this country is the only home he has ever known.
He is currently in the U.S. on a Work Permit and has been fighting through the court system for years trying to gain full citizenship. He has always worked hard, followed the rules, and done everything asked of him. Despite that, he has now been sent to El Paso, Texas where he will have to go through the court process far away from his friends, support system, and resources.
Adham now needs legal representation in another state, which comes with significant attorney and court costs. The purpose of this fundraiser is to help cover those legal fees so he has a fair chance to continue fighting his case and come home.
Any amount helps and is truly appreciated. If you can’t donate, sharing this page means just as much. Thank you for taking the time to read and support Adham during this incredibly difficult time.
