Help Adele Wiejaczka Rebuild After a Fraudulent Home Scam
Donation protected
Hello,
Our daughter, Adele Wiejaczka, recently became homeless due to a devastating home purchase scam. Living in Colorado, she is part of a growing trend among single individuals facing high rental costs who turn to outfitting vans and trucks for mobile, affordable housing. Adele placed an order for a new camper, investing $15,000 with a company she thoroughly researched and trusted, as several friends had made successful purchases through them. Unfortunately, she later discovered that the owner had been involved in fraud through a previous LLC—a fact unknown to Adele. The scam led to the owner’s conviction for 29 counts of theft, and a 20-year prison sentence, leaving Adele with no camper and no recourse for her $15,000. Through research and networking Adele located at least a dozen other people scammed in this second LLC

As Adele says, “Despite this set-back, I remain committed to my truck camper life, as it's a lifestyle choice for me more than anything. This experience has rocked my perception of trust, safety, and joy in my life... For the past 22 years, I have *safely* solo female traveled across America, to Alaska (and back), and 5 years internationally, using my discernment to keep my life safe yet connected to people. This experience came as an alarming surprise with the skills I have built up over the years as someone who lives a 'nomadic life' successfully.”
We are reaching out for support to help Adele recover her lost funds and cover emergency loans. She had to borrow $10,000 to sustain her income from her design business, Live Large Design, and secure a temporary living space by purchasing a used camper that required repairs.
Your donations will go directly toward repaying these emergency loans and replacing the funds lost in the scam, allowing Adele to regain stability in her life and continue her creative work.
Please consider donating to help Adele. No amount is too small, and every donation will make a difference. Whether you can donate or not, we ask that you please consider sharing this campaign with your network of family and friends and help us spread the word.
Thank you for your support and love during this challenging time.
Best,
Kathy and Kent Wiejaczka
