Adelaide is graduating! On June 7th, 2025 Adelaide will graduate from high school and get ready to move into her next stage of life. This fall, she will be attending the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington to study psychology and theater arts. It has been an incredible journey watching this amazing human being learn and grow over 18 years. From an auspicious start, Adelaide has swam, played, laughed, sewed, and canoed her way through life to arrive at this moment.

Before heading off to school in late August, Adelaide has one more journey to take. On June 15th, Adelaide will leave for an Arctic adventure with her YMCA camp Menogyn. She, along with 5 other women, will paddle for 40 days along the Coppermine River of Nunavut, Canada. This is a source to sea trip, ending her trip in Kugluktuk on the Artic Ocean. Adelaide has been working since the 6th grade to build her skills for this adventure and has done a great job of working to pay for much of the cost.
