From the depths of the war that continued and did not end, I am Adel Al-Nahhal, 22 years old, from Gaza. I lived in Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, with my beautiful family, but danger haunts me and my family because of the war, and the infrastructure in Gaza collapsed, and we were forced to leave our home and move to a shelterless tent for my family.
The story is long, but in short,
My family and I were living in the city of Rafah in the Gaza Strip. We were living in that house, which was our only shelter, which was destroyed by the occupation in this devastating war. All our ambitions and dreams were destroyed, even the source of income that we had was completely destroyed, and we no longer have any source of income. We left the city of Rafah to the destroyed city of Khan Yunis and we live under a tent made of nylon and cloth that does not protect us from the deadly cold, as there are no blankets or bedding, and there is no food or drink or anything. We are dying slowly.
But the occupation destroyed our dreams by demolishing them. Nothing remains of these landmarks. All that remains is rubble, and there is nothing left in life except salvation from the war and exiting the Gaza Strip.
My city was also destroyed and bombed. All I have left is this tent and to continue my life in this situation, but we need your help to change our lives for the better and get out of this dark, deadly box. Help me.
