As many of you know, Ade is now 18! Some of you ask what to get him. It’s hard for anyone to shop for him but we want to give him the freedom to explore with a tandem electric trike. This adaptive bike will allow him to ride safely with family and friends, creating cherished memories. Our goal is $10,000 to make this dream a reality.

Meet Ade

Ade is a joyful and resilient 18-year-old who has inspired us through his journey with cerebral palsy, a cortical visual impairment, and a seizure disorder. He’s an adventurer at heart, and we’re excited to help him experience the world in new ways that support his needs.

Why a Tandem Electric Trike?

During the pandemic, Ade, his grandmother, and great-grandfather enjoyed riding a tandem trike at BORP (Bay Area Outdoor Recreation Program). This adaptive bike brought the family together and allowed Ade to explore the marina and waterfront. However, BORP’s limited hours make it hard to ride regularly. That’s why we’re raising funds to purchase a trike for Ade so he can enjoy these experiences whenever he wants.

Our Goal: $10,000 for Ade’s Trike

This trike will bring Ade freedom, joy, and family bonding through shared outdoor adventures. Every donation, no matter the size, helps us get closer to this goal. We’re aiming to raise funds by Christmas to give Ade this unforgettable gift.
