Hi, my name is Christi and I have the pleasure of being Addison's mom! Addison (10) has always been a bright, resilient girl with the BEST smile! In December 2016 it was discovered that Addison had a brain tumor. Soon after multiple tumors and lesions were found throughout her brain and spine. Her official diagnosis is Desimminated Juvenile Pilocytic Astrocytoma, and at the time of diagnosis there was less than 10 documented cases!

Addison has spent the past few years on multiple chemotherapy protocols and even on a clinical trial in Cincinnati. To date, she has had 3 different tumor resections, a shunt placement, and 2 shunt revisions. I could not tell you how strong she is!!!

Our family of 5 is about to be split in different states for 2 months as we face the next step in her journey- Radiation. I have created this go fund me to help with expenses over the next few months.
