On April 7, divine intervention presented a need and solution to us. That day, inspired by a 3 year old fighting leukemia 5 years prior, my husband cut and donated 6 ponytails to Wigs for Kids to make a wig for a child in need. In the comments of that post, was Addisons mom, who simply put kind words. I knew the second I saw her comment what God was up to.

Addison is a 9 year old young lady and NC native that was diagnosed with Alopecia Areata. She has lost all her hair due to her medical condition. Her confidence is slipping and she yearns for a real hair wig. Addison enjoys dance, has a heart on fire for the Lord and is obsessed with all things horses!

Before she lost her hair, it was a beautiful brunette, she has the most beautiful big brown eyes. She is a perfect match to the donation we sent to arrive this week. Addison is an approved candidate for Wigs for Kids. Graclyn “GG” McCallum agrees Addison Price is the perfect candidate for the donation, and so do we! Wigs for Kids continues to be amazing and helpful in this full circle God led process.

At Wigs for Kids, not one family is charged for the wig. They rely on donations. Each wig costs $1800 to make. We would like to raise the $1800 in full for Addisons wig.
