Hello everyone,
If you know Addison Hopkins, you know what a blessing it is to have him in your life. Addison is an inspiring young athlete who brings joy to everyone around him. He’s an aspiring international competitor, gearing up to compete with his U19 teammates at the Underwater Hockey World Championships in Malaysia. Yes, you read that right—underwater hockey is a real and thrilling sport that’s sure to take your breath away!
We are organizing a fundraiser event with fellow members from his home club, Tahoe, to help cover Addison’s costs for the championship. Our goal is to raise $1,000 to support his journey to the Worlds. Our team of four volunteers will be doing underwater lengths at our club. For every $10 donated, the team will do one underwater length. If we hit our target of $1,000, we’ll be running a total of 100 laps. Plus, on the day of the event, every additional $5 donated will mean another underwater length. We will be live-streaming the event on Instagram, allowing everyone to tune in, watch our progress, and donate as we go.
Any donation, big or small, will help Addison achieve his dream of representing the U19 USA team. This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that will open many doors for his bright future in underwater hockey. We are incredibly proud of Addison’s dedication and determination, and we are deeply grateful for any support you can provide!
