Help Addison Beard fight cancer
Donation protected
Addison is battling multiple myeloma at 36 years old.
On July 5, 2022, a cancerous tumor was discovered and removed from his skull. Within a month, he developed additional lesions on his arms, ribs, and right skull. He has started weekly chemo treatments with supplemental medications. Once he has completed 9 months of chemo, he'll undergo a bone marrow transplant with the hopes of putting his cancer into remission. This process requires a monthlong stay in intensive care. Multiple myeloma is a lifelong disease, but with aggressive and innovative treatment, our hope is that Addison will have long periods of remission.
His cancer is currently spreading at a rapid pace. He is unable to consistently work and requires supportive care after treatments. His parents, Debi and Ken, had retired to the hill country, but have temporarily relocated to be with him in Houston.
Addison also has Type 1 diabetes; his monthly insurance premiums start at $500 a month. His insulin, deductibles from cancer treatment, and other expenses will easily add up $60,000 within the next six months.
Any financial support is greatly appreciated.
Addison is a 2005 Humble ISD /Kingwood High School graduate who has been managing the family owned business, Local Print Solution, in the area. He hopes to return to work and continue to be an active part of the Humble community.
