My sister’s sweet 7-year-old dog, Addie, was recently diagnosed with cancer and has started having seizures. This devastating news came completely out of nowhere — within just 24 hours, the vet told us that without surgery, Addie may only have about three months left.

Addie is currently being monitored closely during extended vet stays because of her low blood sugar and frequent convulsions. She’s always been the most loving girl and my sister has given her the best life imaginable. Now, while caring for their one-year-old son as well, they are facing the heartbreaking challenge of helping addie through this fight.

The vet bills have already reached $12,000, not including the cost of surgery and ongoing medications. We’re hoping to ease some of the financial strain so my sister can focus on spending time with Addie and giving her the best possible care and comfort.
