Help add many more years to this sweet soul

Dear family, friends, and loved ones,

This sweet young man ( Joshua Ogden)has just found out the most tragic of news one can recieve.

Josh and his life soulmate Alicia Ogden just found out news that NO ONE wants to recieve. :( I personally have known Alicia over 30 years , and her husband Josh approx 28. We lived near each other as well as across the nation from each other, but my love for them has never changed. We always play catch-up, but this time was not a recap that was easy to hear.

The easiest way I can explain what I know thus far ( as this is very new news) , Joshua has been going to the Doctors for the past few weeks with pain that originated in his rib then to his back. As we understand from their video they so graciously shared with the people they love, and care for ....Joshua has been diagnosed with stage 4 neuroendocrine tumors ...yes this is a very rare cancer. There are about 2000 cases per year in the United States.

I guess we could toss stats around all day, but that's not gonna help change the diagnosis. He and his precious wife need support and answers where possible.

This diagnose does not predict his WILL or his Decline in Desire to fight and live his life to the fullest. Josh and his beautiful wife Alicia deserve every chance, and opportunity they can to recieve the best and most successful treatment avalible. Along with a diagnosis like this, comes the emotional and financial burdens. As hard as this is on them both the last thing we want them to stress about is finances.

GOD tells us in his Word that when we come to him who are weary, he will give you rest. I know this couple has given in more ways than people could ever imagine. I personally have Joshua to thank, as he saved my 3 year old sons life when he almost drowned in a swimming pool. I have Alicia to thank for saving me many times when I had no where to go with my babies.
