Help Adam with legal costs to fight for freedom

Donation protected
Adam Lockwood, aka, The Little Nuisance, is on a different path than most. After a lot of training and planning, Adam climbed the Shard on the 4th of September to be the first to reach its peak, which is an incredibly monumental moment for the climbing community. He is currently being held, awaiting his trial date, where he will face sentencing.

Although climbing itself isn’t an illegal act unfortunately Adam has been subject to a targeted attack from Manchester council, serving him with a Criminal behaviour order (CBO) in an attempt to stop him doing what he loves.

Climbing for Adam has been an escape. An escape from the pressures that a lot of young people face. Adam climbs with one message, to spread awareness of mental health and how it can have such a detrimental impact on peoples lives. Adam encourages people to find the things they are passionate about and chase their dreams in the hope of helping their mental health.

Adam only endangers himself because he knows the risks and trains methodically a great deal. When I see how far he’s come and the things he’s achieved, it makes me angry how he’s labeled a criminal and a tyrant throughout Europe. He’s been attacked, chased, threatened, arrested at gun point multiple times, beaten, had his property taken, damaged, stolen, and arrested for his "crimes" . He’s faced jail time and multiple refusals on entry to countries because of his "crimes". These "crimes" are his art and shouldn’t loom over him like a bad smell.

He’s an artist, and an athlete, and has aspirations beyond others' capability. I am showing my support by sharing this with you, hoping you understand Adam has no support network or help from anyone other than his friends, the climbing community, and his fans.

Let's take the weight off his shoulders by making sure when he finally appears in court on the 13th, he will be able to afford decent legal counsel to help him navigate this ordeal.

No athlete or artist should be locked up for their work.
