Help Adam with his battle with cancer

Hello, my name is Ashley and I am the sister-in-law of Adam Gibbs and sister of Melissa Gibbs. I have started this crowdfunding because I know that Adam and his family need help but I also know that they would never ask for it.

My brother-in-law, Adam, has dedicated his life to helping others—working in the disability sector and volunteering as a firefighter. Now, he needs our help.

Adam has recently been diagnosed with Stage IV non-Hodgkin lymphoma, meaning the cancer has spread beyond his lymphatic system to his organs. He is currently undergoing aggressive treatment at Ballarat Hospital, 40 km from his home. His wife, Melissa, is juggling full-time work, caring for their children, and driving him to and from appointments—all while trying to keep their family afloat.

Despite the toll of chemotherapy, Adam has tried to continue working to support his family. Unfortunately, this has already led to two hospitalizations in two weeks. His immune system is vulnerable, and continuing to work puts him at even greater risk. While Adam is the kind of person who never asks for help, it’s time for him to prioritize his health and recovery without the added stress of financial hardship.

With Adam needing to step away from work and Melissa reducing her hours to care for him, the financial strain is immense. Every donation, big or small, will help cover medical costs, travel expenses, and daily necessities for their family during this difficult time.
