My name is Adam, and I’m facing a rare and aggressive form of cancer called NUT Midline Carcinoma. The prognosis is typically poor, and as I look ahead, I want to make the most of the time I have left. My dream is to take a road trip across the country—a journey that would allow me to reconnect with the world, see places I’ve never seen, and find peace and independence while I still can. Medical expenses and those associated with it have left me in a tough financial spot and while I feel very blessed to have been able to sustain myself and from help of friends, I still find that I am below any financial marker that could help this make sense.

Because I am oxygen dependent, this trip comes with unique challenges. I’ll need a portable electric generator to keep my equipment running, as well as funds for food, lodging, fuel, and emergency expenses. Every detail matters, and every bit of support will help me make this journey possible. I’ve spent the last seven years focused on home and work, and I haven’t had the chance to take time away or see the ocean again. This trip would be a chance to satisfy my heart and soul, to experience the joy and freedom I’ve been longing for.
