Help Adam pay medical bills

Hello, my name is Jim, I have known Adam since he was a boy, he is 23 years old. Myself and my family have helped raise Adam, and, although he is not biologically mine, I think of him like a son. Recently, his girlfriend, Justine was diagnosed with a serious medical condition, luckily she was covered by employer insurance. While dealing with that Adam was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer for which he required almost immediate surgery. The surgery was successful, but Adam does not have insurance and is going to be required to pay for all of this out of pocket. And, at this point, he is waiting for pathology for the cancer to come back, despite the successful surgery. In addition, just before all of these medical diagnoses, he and Justine had become engaged. This is young man has a cheerful disposition and didn't deserve this and would never ask for help. If any group of people could have worse luck in the span of six months, I truly would fear for them. He has no idea I'm doing this and he surely wouldn't want me to do it and didn't ask for it, but I haver no other ideas what to do to help this kid out. If I had the money, I would give it to him but I don't. I am asking you to help out with whatever you can afford to help a young man, and young couple who have been handed a situation that most couples , thankfully, don't ever have to deal with, not once but twice. The family around Adam is strong, but not wealthy, and truly in need for help. I appreciate you taking the time to read all this and consider helping.
