Help Adam fund his NFTC-Level 1 training!

Hello. My name is Adam Holt, and I am excited to share that I was accepted into Narrative Focused Trauma Care - Level 1 (NFTC)! This program is an offering of the Allender Center in Seattle, Washington. The main aspects of NFTC are that it will help me engage more of my story, and equip me to help others engage theirs. From the Allender Center’s website, NFTC "provides a proven framework to engage and reclaim traumatic experiences through a narrative process, aiming to heal our deepest wounds and to restore Shalom – faith, hope, and love. By sharing our story with trusted others who are able to name both our deep woundedness and our deep goodness, we grow a deeper capacity to know and live into our calling and engage in life-giving relationships with God and others." Everything about the NFTC offering has me excited! Little else aligns with who I am, what I am good at, and what I want to do. God has gifted me with a love of others, a devotion to seeing a person's heart healed and restored, and a passionate ease in listening to a person's heart and engaging stories.

NFTC information can be found at this link https://theallendercenter.org/about/nftc/

The NFTC program consists of four, four-day sessions, taking place in September and November '25, and January and March '26. The total cost is $8,495, but I was awarded a $1,199.25 scholarship. Your thoughtful contribution will help me cover the tuition cost. This training will absolutely be helping me personally, but it will also help those I engage with as I intend on implementing this training in the myriad of relationships I have, such as my own family, church groups, ministry groups, and recreational groups (improv and aviation). Any money received over my goal will go toward travel expenses.

I am happy to share any portion of my story with you, and my journey to applying for NFTC, but in summation, I find this quote from the book, "The Lion Tracker's Guide to Life" to be helpful in describing where I am soulfully: "I don’t know where I’m going, but I know exactly how to get there." A verse from Proverbs is also paramount in understanding my path and who I am. Proverbs 20:5 - The purpose in a man's heart is like deep water, but a man of understanding will draw it out. I cannot fully explain here the depth of healing I have gained over the last few years, or the tracks I have discovered and followed, lost, and new ones found, but I can confidently and peacefully affirm that Jesus is ever with me and ever before me.

Thank you so much for reading this, and I do surely appreciate any contribution you can make toward my goal. Please also consider sharing with those you know that may want to contribute as well.
