On Sunday, September 12, Adam and Melidy were given 20 minutes to pack and evacuate their home due to the Hopkins fire. Fortunately, they were able to make it out safely with all their pets. However, the fire was fast and intense and their home is likely a total loss. They are currently staying with friends and starting the process with insurance.
