Hi everyone, in October of 2022, my son Adam Kendall was diagnosed with Stage 3 Kidney failure because of a lifelong battle with Type 1, Juvenile Diabetes. Two months ago, Adam’s condition worsened drastically to Stage 5 Kidney failure. Adam needs a Kidney transplant. After a 4 week stay in two hospitals, Adam’s now receiving dialysis 4 days per week for approximately 4 hours each day, roundtrip it is 200 miles to Concord NH from his home for dialysis. Someone must be with him for transport and treatment, Adam’s wife Tabby has taken this responsibility. Tabby is learning to administer the dialysis so it can be done at home, this involves lengthy preparation and training. At this time, Doctors are saying it will be at least 4 to 6 more months before they can do the transplant due to health complications. They will then begin the search for a matching kidney donor. Adam is receiving the best possible care we can access for him and he is fighting for his life.

Any medical crisis like this entails major expenses for a family. Additionally, Adam can’t work and his wife can only work part time because of the time involved in his treatment. I am fundraising to ensure that Adam and his family have the support they need to defray those expenses and put Adam on the road to recovery. Anyone that knows Adam knows he is a hardworking, loving father and husband who is always there for others, so let’s be there for him.

Adam has a long road ahead of him and we do not have a clear picture of what his needs will be so the goal may increase as needed. Funds will go directly to Adam and his wife, as his wife is managing his care. Thank you for your help.
