For those of you that know the Spies family well, less than two years ago we lost my father, Adam Spies, to Stage 4 NSCLC. Now, my brother, who has just recently turned 30 years old, is fighting a battle against the same lung cancer. Since his diagnosis, he has not been able to work and must focus on treatment. As well, he underwent major surgery last week to help support the femur where cancer has metastasized.

Adam Jr. is blessed to have all medical expenses covered by the VA but could use some help with basic needs like groceries and monthly bills.
