Hi, My name is Gina. On July 1st, my daughter woke up to her boyfriend Adam calling her name for help. He was unable to use his limbs and was unable to breathe. On the way to the hospital he stopped breathing. He was airlifted to London and is in the ICU hooked up to a ventilator and heavily sedated which Drs say will not change for at least another week or two. His diagnosis is a Spinal Stroke, they located a lesion at the top of his spinal.cord but are still testing for any other scenario possible, absolutely devasting news. The traveling back and forth to London, paying parking , all the expenses incurred will be difficult to keep up with. His prognosis is unknown but for certain he will be facing extensive rehab and a lengthy hospital stay in the future, that's all we know so far. He will be unable to work indefinitely, as I said we have no clue when and if he will recover from this. Anything you can donate is much appreciated. I will keep everyone updated on his fight to get well again.
