My name is Adam Ikhwan, and I have been offered a place to pursue MEng Mechanical Engineering at the University of Glasgow. This is truly a dream opportunity for me, but I am facing a financial challenge that may prevent me from registering in time.

I need to complete my registration by 22nd September, yet despite applying to many scholarships, unfortunately none have been successful. My parents are unable to provide the funds within such a short timeframe. My father has even tried to sell our house for the past six months to support my studies, but has not been able to find a buyer.

The annual tuition fee is GBP 31,000 (EUR 36,000). For now, I am desperately trying to raise enough to cover my initial costs:

Flight ticket to Glasgow

Rental deposit and first few months of accommodation

First semester tuition fees (or at least a portion of it)

I estimate that I will need around EUR 36,000 to begin this journey. Once I am there, I plan to work part-time while continuing to apply for scholarships to support the following years of my studies.
