Help Adam Griffith get back on his feet

Donation protected
Hi everyone, I’m Adam Griffith’s coworker and friend, and every person that knows him knows that he is always willing to offer a helping hand to others, and this time he needs our help.

On 2/6/24, Adam Griffith was in a bad car accident coming home from work. Not only was his car totaled, but the accident left him with a dislocated hip, broken hip socket, and severe damage to his sciatic nerve. This has caused not only numbness and debilitating nerve pain in his left leg but also palsy (temporary paralysis) and muscle atrophy. Adam currently requires an AFO brace and walking aid in order to walk. Now, even doing the smallest daily things are extremely difficult.

This has kept Adam from working the past three months. His job in home remodeling is physically demanding and requires lots of driving in a personal vehicle, which he is currently without. He has been left with medical bills and the disability payments he had been receiving for the first 12 weeks of recovery have now ended. While the short-term disability payments helped sustain regular living expenses while he had received them, he now currently has zero income.

As if that was not enough hardship, his newly built home was hit by a massive hail storm on 4/20/24. Golf-ball sized hail damaged the entire exterior of his house, which, he just bought last year. The storm completely shredded his siding and significantly damaged his gutters and roof. He must now also pay a $5,000 deductible to fix the damages. He is doing his best to stay positive (as we know Adam to always does), but life is throwing curveball after curveball and he is currently tapped financially with uncertainty when he’ll be able to return to his current job.

To add insult to injury, all of his golf clubs were damaged in the accident. Everybody who knows Adam knows that golfing is his biggest passion. Of course, his living expenses, medical bills, home insurance deductible, and need for a new vehicle (so that he can return to work) are the most pressing issues. Just knowing that one of his main sources of joy has been taken away from him throughout all this back-to-back hardship has been even more disheartening.

Let’s help Adam get back on his feet *financially* so that he can focus his energy on getting back on his feet *literally* in physical therapy so he can start working and golfing again!
