Hi, my name is Adam, and I am fundraising so I can help my family as I am unable to. I am a self employed machinist/fabricator, mountain biker, husband, and father of two young kids. I operate my shop by myself (www.amtmachineshop.com ). Throughout my career, I have contributed, supported and helped out many customers and neighbours in the community . I recently got a bad infection in my back, osteomyelitis, which is an aggresive bone eating infection. I spent 7 weeks in hospital and once discharged, I continued on with IV drip treaments at home. I am now walking with a cane, but have been unable to work since mid Oct 2025. My treatment is ongoing, and may now require surgery to replace deteriorating vertebrae in my back. Realistically, my continuous pain and mobility issues while seeking treatment may take a year. I'm currently getting no income but the shop and house bills still needs to get paid. As we are down to one salery, I'm raising these funds to help reduce the stress on my wife as she covers these bills while I have not been able to work. Any donation is greatly appreciated.
