My name is Adam, and for the past two months, I’ve been facing unemployment. Just as I was about to accept a new job offer and get back on my feet, my vehicle broke down unexpectedly. Without a working car, I’m unable to get to work, and it’s been a real setback during an already challenging time.
I’m an electrician by trade, and my new job requires me to have reliable transportation. The work site is 15 miles away from my home, and unfortunately, it’s outside the reach of the public transit system. Fixing my vehicle is the only way I can start this job, regain stability, and support myself again. Every day that passes without a car is another day I can’t move forward.
I’ve always tried to support fellow IBEW members and others in need through GoFundMe, but now I find myself in a time of hardship. I would be truly grateful for any and all contributions, no matter the size. Your support will help me get back to work and rebuild my future. Thank you so much for considering helping me during this difficult time.
