Help Adam, Clara, and Aidan Find Winter Housing in VA-DC

If you're seeing this, you probably know me. We actually met out in the real world before it was replaced by a computer simulation called Facebook.
The lovely angel to my right you may not have been introduced to yet. That's Clara. Clara is my one and only, my Ride or Die, the woman of my dreams and then some. She and I met in the unlikeliest circumstances, survived the equivalent of a conflagration that devoured our residence in Omaha, Nebraska, a long and painful separation as she took refuge with relatives in Virginia and I hit the streets, and just reunited a few days ago in Northern Virginia...only to be separated again as we seek a temporary housing solution...and here comes the bottom line:
We're seeking that temporary housing solution on the eve of the arrival of Aidan, our firstborn baby boy. Clara is a little more than two weeks from her estimated due date of January 20th, 2025.
We aim to keep Aidan, to marry, and embark on a loving and supportive family life together. Those who know my history will wonder about this so I may as well hit it on the head: Clara and I are both clean and sober and dedicated to staying that way in order to provide a suitable home environment for Aidan and our already arrived children and our families. We are in that effort together, as Clara is my first partner who is also in recovery. Thanks to her taking the lead, we are both sober and ready for Aidan's arrival, with a single but crucial exception.
Clara and I are temporarily homeless. Unsheltered. Between places. However you wish to say it, it could cost us the ability to keep and raise our son, or mire us in the Virginia foster and child protective services system. Our goal is to move closer to my family in the Northern Alabama/Western Tennessee area and out of the significantly more expensive Washington D.C./Northern Virginia area at our first practical opportunity--entanglement in the system here would thwart that and make it that much harder for us to maintain suitable housing and therefore to keep our son.
We are grateful for any help in our time of need. Every penny counts in our situation. We have set a tentative overall goal of $5000, which should cover three months if we steward the funds cautiously and take full advantage of charitable and philanthropic resources in the area, which are plentiful.
