Help Adam Blair on his road to recovery
On July 16th Adam Blair suffered a life altering injury. While working on a screen enclosure a metal beam (that was previously installed by someone else) that was poorly attached gave way causing Adam to fall from 9ft in the air to then land directly onto concrete head first. Adam was rushed to the hospital and immediately was considered a Trauma patient. After hours of testing and keeping a close eye on his brain swelling and bleeding the Neurosurgeon decided that he had to have a craniectomy immediately. After 3 long hours he successfully made it through his first brain surgery. These past 24 hours has been extremely painful for not only Adam but also his entire family. As many of you know Adam unfortunately lost his sister Sheri earlier this year but God is so good and we know God and Sheri were most definitely with him yesterday and there were many signs of that with the Hospital even picking a random number for Adam and that number being Sheri’s birthday. Adam’s recovery is going to be a long process… He is currently in a medically induced coma as the doctors wait for his brain swelling to go down. Once the swelling goes down and he is in a more stable condition he will have to go through another brain surgery. There is no timeline yet as to when that will take place or how long he will be in the hospital for… he will also have to go through physical therapy once he is discharged from the hospital. With no estimated time of when or if he will be able to work again his family could use any and all the support they can get. His wife Katie is a small business owner herself and will have to take time off of work to be at the hospital with him and help care for him too afterwards. Adam and Katie also have an almost 1 1/2 year old Willow at home too. Any kind of support is beyond appreciated ❤️
