Hi, my name is Ailsa, and I’m setting this up for Adam, his partner, and their young daughter.

Recently, Adam’s home was affected by a fire. While the fire itself was contained, the damage has been devastating. Everything in the house that wasn’t destroyed by the fire has been severely damaged by smoke, and as a result, the family has lost almost everything.

Their cat was rescued by the fire brigade, who performed CPR at the scene. Thankfully, the cat survived but has since required emergency veterinary treatment for smoke inhalation, resulting in over £600 in vet bills.

Adam and his family are currently staying in an Airbnb while they try to work out their next steps. With a very young child, the disruption and pressure they’re under right now is immense.

The family is doing everything they can to stay afloat, but the sudden loss of their home, belongings, and daily routine has placed them under significant emotional stress and financial strain.

The money raised will go towards:

• Temporary accommodation and day-to-day living costs

• Replacing essential household items, clothing, and basic necessities

• Veterinary bills and ongoing care for their cat

• Helping the family begin to rebuild after losing their home
